This course equips service technicians with the knowledge, tools and ability to install and commission a Toshiba-Carrier VRF system. A factory certified instructor will lead the class and cover installation best practices, commissioning sequence, and test operation. A portion of the class will be hands-on utilizing our Toshiba-Carrier heat recovery SMMS E-series VRF system. We will also discuss the I-series. COURSE WORK INCLUDES: 1 - Piping layout, including local Chicago code issues 2 - Communication wiring 3 - Startup of the system, including step by step procedures on an operating system 4 - Controls, including local, central, and BACnet types 5 - Service tips, including most common faults, reading fault codes, and system override prior to repair RECOMMENDED FOR: Pipefitters and installers Service technicians Service managers Lunch will be provided.
